Maitimo after Thangorodrim

My first completely digital deviation. No scanned lineart, everything done in GIMP.
Somehow, I don't think I got facial proportions exactly right, but... I may be editing this.
I can't decide if I like the complete CGI look or not... I may just go back to my good old colored pencils.

Anyway, this is a few months after his rescue, hence the sling.
And before you ask, his hair length will vary depending on the time I'm drawing him from. Aman-capture, he has long hair, captivity to a while post-rescue he'll have short hair (inspired by gold-seven's theory), and after he gets that funny medium-length hair I gave him last time.

So... just an experimental pic, basically.
